Access Control Systems

Dytronics Ltd. design and produce pass-through access controllers for the pharmaceutical industry. Typical uses of the controllers are for controlling the operating sequence of air lock systems, to ensure clean working environments are not contaminated when equipment is passed through. The air locks can be small (from 1 cubic meter) to large pass-through chambers which allow trolleys and pallets to pass through.

Most of these designs are customised for the individual sites to allow for different cleaning or fumigation systems. Door locks can be controlled when the clean air standards are vital to production or research activities.

The controllers can operate the fumigation process if necessary, including temperature, humidity and mixing the sterilising agents. Most installations have links to the building control systems for system operation status.
