The controllers are designed to be used either singly or linked, to provide more output channels. The universal output stages allow low to high ac loads to be driven, allowing the display designers flexibility in their choice of lighting sources.

The initial design standard of using highly specified and protected drivers has meant that the controllers have a high reliability in use. By arranging the designs to use interchangeable plug-in modules, units can be efficiently assembled by the users to meet display needs.
